On December 26, 2013, I went to Kinko’s on Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta to take care of some important business. I walk up to the counter to checkout and the associate behind the counter just sits there at her computer. I stand there for at least a minute waiting for her to acknowledge me (I stand at 5’11” tall, so I KNOW she saw me standing there). While I am the ONLY person standing in line, patiently waiting for assistance, another customer walks in. The associate stands up from her computer and looks around me and says, “Can I help you ma’am?” So I left the store; I refuse to spend my money where I am invisible. Since I was not important enough to be acknowledged, I will no longer be utilizing the services of Kinkos and I have informed my friends and business associates NOT to use Kinkos in the future. This young lady has no idea how much business she just lost for her employer; we will be going to Office Max or UPS going forward. Customer Service is dying and companies wonder why their profit margins are shot. It is unfortunate.
