Photo Printing Service and Product Extremely Poor


Do not use the FedEx photo services at this store. I ordered two photos to be printed. One photo was to be printed on black backer board; the other was to be printed on canvas and stretched over a wooden frame. After I submitted the order online, I received an email that stated I would get a call confirming my order and discussing details. No phone call, no big deal. Was out running errands. Stopped in the store an hour and a half after submitting order. Guy behind counter says, "I was just about to call you". Okay, cool. When placing order online it did not give me price or ask me to pay. While in store, I offered to pay. Employee said that they take payment when done. Okay, cool. Online it says it takes 24-36 hours to complete project. Confirmation email said project would be done by 3 PM the next day. Guy in store said it would be done on that next day and someone would call me to tell me the project was done. At 8 PM the next day, still no phone call. I call FedEx. Guy says order is ready. I drive over to pick it up. Only half the project is done. To the extent it was done, it was horrible work. He tells me the rest won't be done for two more days. The intent was for the photos to be Xmas gifts so the revised timeline does not work for me. They were out of canvas at that store and shipped it out to another store. Mind you, no one called to tell me any of this. Further, the photo that was done was $10 more than advertised. They charged to re-size the photo. Of course, it does not reveal this charge anywhere during the ordering process. Nor was I given an estimate when I originally went in the store. Further, the backer board does not have hole in the back of board so that picture could be hung. Pretty silly. Horrible service; horrible product - - do not give these people your business. The one photo cost $54; the other would have cost $89 so one would expect a bit better customer experience. I was not asking them to copy something for a nickel.
